UMASS AMHERST Office Manager/ Clerk IV MSBDC Berkshire Regional Office The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center (MSBDC) Berkshire Regional Office located in Pittsfield, MA seeks to fill a part-time (30 hours/week) benefited Office Manager position.
The Office Manager is the primary support to the administrative and program efforts of the Berkshire Regional Office of the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network.
The position will provide support for delivery and evaluation of training programs and office sponsored public relations and special interest events.
The Office Manager will interact with and assess the needs of clients and the public; and respond to questions regarding small business, MSBDC services, and other resources.
Requirements:
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Prior office experience.
Excellent communication, customer service, and typing skills.
Experience with PC's and Windows.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Experience in organizing events for organizations.
College level course work in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
