Assistant Director of Financial Aid Services, Counseling Under the direction of the Associate Director of Financial Aid Services, the Assistant Director is responsible for providing quality customer service to all current and prospective students and their families.
The Assistant Director for Financial Aid manages the fast-paced, comprehensive customer service center by hiring, supervising, training, and scheduling students and staff to effectively serve a diverse student population.
In addition, the Assistant Director provides in-person student and family financial aid counseling and participates in outreach programs by presenting financial aid materials to large audiences and small groups.
The successful candidate will co-manage the Peer Counseling Program and train the summer helpline staff using their knowledge of federal, state and campus financial aid policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years' relevant experience in higher education administration required, with student financial aid experience preferred.
The successful candidate must have a proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and must have effective written and oral communication skills.
Applicants must have proven ability to work with diverse student and staff population.
Hiring salary range:
$41,100 to $51,500 Normal starting range:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
